The BeeInvolved journey began in 2016 as my personal passion project in beekeeping. I began with 2 hives on 8 acres and a desire to learn about bees, their habitats and how we can help them survive. The following year family and friends wanted to help save the bees without getting stung multiple times a day. Our first program – Sponsor-a-Hive was born. In one season we went from 2 hives to 9 hives introducing half a million bees to the US ecosystem.
Fast forward to 2023, we expanded our investment in bees and their habitat to 25 acres, more hives and more programs for people to get engaged at many levels.
